Paradise Park, established in 1995, is an agricultural management company
that occupies and operates a 525 acre farm located off the Cairo-Alexandria desert
highway, 50 kilometers from Cairo. The farm is well designed and equipped with advanced
systems for irrigation and fertigation. It is also equipped with state of the art
machinery for soil management, composting, potting and large size tree excavators.
Accommodation facilities are available for up to 120 people who seek lodging at the farm.
Storage facilities with a volume of about 4,000 cubic meters are also available.
Our staff includes over 100 experienced horticultural experts, consultants, landscapers, technicians as well as financial and legal personnel.
The farm features a fruit production field as well as an ornamental nursery. The fruit production field has 400 acres of olive trees which were planted along with nine cultivars. The cultivars were carefully selected to produce an olive yield that will be processed for oil and fruit pickling. Fifty acres of the field are also occupied by date palm trees. It consists of four cultivars to produce dates for fresh consumption and processing.
The ornamental nursery covers an area of 75 acres designated for the cultivation of outdoor ornamental plants and divided into the following:
- 1500-m2 of green and shade houses with advanced control systems. The control systems enable us to provide optimal growing conditions for a wide selection of palms, cycads, tropical and subtropical ornamental trees and shrubs. The dimensions of the shade houses allow for many large specimen plants to be grown as well as the normal range of plant sizes.
- 70,000-m2 for trained rows of climbing plants.
- 60,000-m2 for deciduous ornamental plants.
- 80,000-m2 of container-grown plants. The size of the containers range from one liter to 40 cubic feet.
- 100,000-m2 of open ground planting - primarily Mediterranean, subtropical and tropical cultivars.
