INTERAGRO 

Interagro Company started its activities in 1995 with the acquisition of an existing dairy farm (the largest commercial dairy farm in Egypt).The farm consists of 7000 acres of arable land used for crop cultivation and animal feed production, cow rearing and milking, and the production of dairy products. 

Following the acquisition, a major revamping of the farm and the production facilities was undertaken employing the very latest technologies available in the agri-dairy industry today.

Upon completion of phase 1 in 2001, Interagro dairy production facility will be fully operational and using high speed processing machinery capable of producing a wide range of dairy and dairy-related products with the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Moreover, by the completion of phase 2 the farm will have a herd of Holstein-Friesian dairy cows in numbers that will increase up to 25,000 head in a few years, thereby becoming one of the largest integrated dairy farms in the world.
